Deepak Brass Industries manufactures Molded-In Inserts designed to be placed in the mold cavity prior to plastic injection. They offer exceptional torque and pull-out resistance. Series 45 inserts are blind ended and are designed for non-through hole applications.

“Blind Inserts” is suitable for compression and injection processes. This range is installed directly into the mould tool, providing a high performance fixing.

Our Mold-in Blind Threaded Inserts is designed to be molded into the plastic component during the molding cycle. Typically, the insert is placed on a core pin in the mold during the molding cycle. The insert is designed with aggressive knurling and undercuts to resist rotational and tensile pull loads. The part has a closed bottom (blind thread) to eliminate plastic flow into the threads.

Our Mold-in Closed-end Inserts is designed to be molded into Plastics, Rubber & Ceramics. The insert is designed with aggressive diamond knurling that provides high resistance to tensile pull and rotational torque loads. It has a closed bottom and a controlled minor diameter which provides for accurate positioning on core pins. The "closed-end" bottom prevents plastic flow into the threads.

Our Mold-in Thru-thread Inserts Series insert is designed to be molded into Plastics, Rubber & Ceramics. The insert is designed with aggressive diamond knurling that provides high resistance to tensile pull and rotational torque loads. It also has a controlled minor diameter which provides for accurate positioning on core pins.

Mold insert was designed for applications where a molded-in insert is more economical than post molding. The unique two-piece design means that there are full threads through the entire length of the insert. No added material required for imperfect threads and drill point.

Design provides excellent performance when molded in thermoplastics and thermosetting plastics, Blind end prevents ingress of plastic and contaminating threads, Tapped open end allows screw to pass through the insert., Double–ended to assist automatic feeding by eliminating the need for orientation during installation.
